Andrew Bird
Andrew Bird opened for Wilco last night in Iowa City. I got the chance to meet Andrew in 1999 while he was at Kingsway Studios recording with Rogers Stevens from Blind Melon and Pat Sansone (now with Wilco). Andrew is a different cat, as is evident in the above video. One thing is for certain, his musicianship cannot be questioned. He’s as original and mesmerizing as anyone I’ve seen. Enjoy.
