A still from the behind the scenes video showing one of my favorite artists, Chuck Close.
Love the scene of him pacing behind the volunteer on the phone while she’s interviewed.
I hate to be the downer, but with the Yahoo! news last week and things like the Revision3 announcement today, expect twitter to become the ‘good luck, farewell, WTF happened’ hub of the interweb, ala F^%$edCompany in 2000. Get on your moping hats gang this wave is going to be a big one. So long foosball tables.
Congratulations to Impromptu Studio on more excellent press coverage. After a week of television coverage they were featured in a nice article in the Business Record. I serve on the advisory board for the space and it’s excellent to see the marketing and outreach plans coming together, and hopefully getting more bodies behind the desks. Also nice to see the DSM Web Geeks get a nod, we’re lucky to have the opportunity to showcase the space and to take advantage of the Shipton’s hospitality every two weeks. Kudos!
…It’s important to my job and so I’m glad I have reliable e-mail at GMail, cheap calls on Skype, instant messages with Adium (Google Talk, AIM) and a phone on my desk.
…Paperless faxes: Most people have a scanner/printer (it’s hard to find the two separated these days) so they don’t need to fax anything.
Go buy some shirts before you have no money and can only dream of buying shirts with pixelated people and geeky political slogans on them. If you wait to long the terrorists/socialists/community organizers will have truly won.
