On Hippies
The Toyota Prius is the VW microbus of the modern era. The difference being a hippie could get a VW just by trading some primo Widespread Panic tickets to some dude at Bonnaroo, whereas acquiring a Prius means a hippie must come face to face with his number-one enemy….the credit check.
LOL - Thanks for the memories Jeremy. When I lived in Australia I bought a bright orange 1975 VW bus for $750. That baby ran like a tortoise with roller skates on but I loved old Harriet the Chariot.
